Homes
A home is a place you saved, so that you can go back to it with one command.
The commands
| Command | Permission | What it does |
|---|---|---|
/home (alias /homes) | appeltools.command.home.home | List your homes. |
/home <name> | appeltools.command.home.home | Go to a home. |
/sethome <name> | appeltools.command.home.sethome | Save where you are as a home. |
/delhome <name> | appeltools.command.home.delhome | Ask to delete a home. |
/delhomeconfirm <name> | appeltools.command.home.delhomeconfirm | Confirm the deletion. |
/renamehome <old> <new> | appeltools.command.home.renamehome | Give a home another name. |
The homes of a player
/home without a name shows a list of your homes: the name, the world and the coordinates. When you have no homes at all, it says so.
/home <name> takes you to that home. When the name is not one of yours, it says so.
Saving a home
/sethome baseThe home is saved where you are standing — the world, the coordinates and the direction you are looking.
A name that is already one of your homes is refused, so /sethome base twice does not move your base.
TIP
There is no limit on the number of homes you may set.
Deleting a home
/delhome baseThe command does not delete anything yet: you get a message with a button, and clicking it runs /delhomeconfirm base. That is the command that deletes the home.
The two-step exists so that a mistyped name cannot throw a home away.
Renaming a home
/renamehome base mainThe home keeps its place and only gets another name. A name that is already in use is refused.
The homes of another player
/home Steve:baseWith a name of the form player:home you go to a home of another player. The player has to be online on the same server, because the plugin reads the home out of the player who is standing there.
The homes are per server
A home belongs to the server it was saved on. The base you save on survival is a different place from the base you save on lobby, and /home only shows the homes of the server you are on.
